Brodie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McOut did well to prevent Brodie getting side control. Brodie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brodie misses with a head shot. McOut uses the momentum to regain guard. Brodie won't allow McOut to sweep him here. McOut bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brodie's guard. McOut looking to pass the guard. McOut postures up.
McOut drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says McOut as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Brodie screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with McOut! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp wants to clinch up but Angle keeps it at a distance. Angle is looking to clinch. Sharp dodges the punch combination from Angle.
Angle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sharp scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Angle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sharp moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Angle. That's going to slow Sharp down. That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Angle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Angle postures up and lands a big shot to Sharp's brow. Angle stands and steps away. Sharp gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Angle shoots in for a double leg but Sharp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Curtis Sharp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Angle. Angle tests Sharp's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sharp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dexter Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hattori Hanzo! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan misses with a hook. Hanzo ducked under it nicely. Hanzo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side. Morgan catches Hanzo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A cross from Morgan lands. Morgan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. No luck for Hanzo with that takedown attempt. Morgan throws out a loose jab but Hanzo uses good head movement to avoid it. Morgan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hanzo is rocked! Morgan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hanzo is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him? Morgan closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Hanzo out cold! Hanzo corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daville misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Daville bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Daville looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Harry can't do much from the bottom here. Daville is trying to get an arm triangle but Harry is defending well. Daville wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harry, who protects the arm well. Daville thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harry wants to control but Daville postures up. Daville is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Harry is looking for a sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Harry gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Harry unloads a knee to the mid-section. Harry pressing his opponent against the cage. Harry manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Harry wants to improve his position but instead Daville has moved into half guard.

Daville won't be happy with that. Daville sneaks back into half guard. Daville is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Harry pulls his head out easily. Harry performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Harry lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daville looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Harry is taking a breather. Daville says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Daville has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Harry escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Harry! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harry advances nicely into full mount. Harry takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fat Harry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Daville is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Harry defends it well. Daville tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harry knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Daville. Harry is pushing Daville's head away, looking to escape. Daville manages to hold on to the position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

"Ole!" shouts Harry as he jumps to the side. Harry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Daville, pushing him back against the cage. Daville tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Daville drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harry dives on top into guard. Harry controlling from the top position. Daville is looking for a triangle but Harry pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fat Harry. Well Harry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Pik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zappa is just riding it out for now. Pik eventually gives up the hold. Pik is taking a breather. Zappa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pik is trying to work for a kimura but Zappa is defending well.
