2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sparring Partner! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Partner. Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Partner. Shabadoo slips under a jab from Rojas. Rojas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shabadoo moves away. Rojas works Shabadoo's body with a nice hook. Rojas stuns Shabadoo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Shabadoo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rojas. Shabadoo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rojas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shabadoo was well out of range. Poor timing from Rojas. Shabadoo gets the takedown into side control. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Rojas. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rojas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jariwala looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mullen throwing strikes from guard but Jariwala blocks nicely. Jariwala trying to keep a closed guard but Mullen is proving a slippery customer.
Mullen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mullen won't allow Jariwala to sweep him here. Jariwala is adopting a defensive guard. Jariwala closes the distance looking to clinch and Mullen counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jariwala knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mullen on the ground. Mullen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jariwala is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bloodgood ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Killer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Killer throws the kick towards the body but Bloodgood avoids it. A punch combination from Bloodgood misses. Bloodgood throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Killer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Killer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Bloodgood displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Killer throws out the jab. Bloodgood connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bloodgood scores with a jab to the jaw. Bloodgood lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Killer at a distance.

Killer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bloodgood wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bloodgood throws a good cross that connects.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into Killer's face. Killer staggers backwards, shaken. Bloodgood lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bloodgood closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Killer is rocked! Killer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Oh Killer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bloodgood lands with a straight right. Killer didn't see that one coming.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reponen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Reponen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Nuekm must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Nuekm is looking to stand up but Reponen won't let him. Reponen throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nuekm desperately trying to maintain half guard. Nuekm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reponen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reponen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nuekm is positioning himself well to prevent Reponen advancing to mount. Reponen is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Nuekm reverses the position - he's now on top in Reponen's guard. Nuekm wanted to stand there but Reponen had control of the position. Nuekm preventing the sweep. Nuekm wants to stand but Reponen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reponen just misses with a punch to the body.

That's better than Reponen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Reponen misses with a series of strikes from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nuekm tries to hold on but Reponen postures up. Reponen throwing strikes here but Nuekm is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Nuekm throws a sloppy head kick and Reponen moves out of range easily. Nuekm moves into the clinch. Nuekm crunches a lovely knee into Reponen's ribcage. Murderer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mithani avoids it really well and circles away. VJ Mithani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killer Murderer. A combination from Mithani does no damage. Murderer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mithani tries to avoid it but Murderer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mithani to the ground. Mithani escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mithani is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Murderer's half guard. Mithani tries to stand but can't do so whilst Murderer controls his leg.
