Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuoki Akamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veijo Meri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meri is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me. Veijo Meri struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Veijo Meri looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Akamara seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Meri is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Brezovec takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Brezy Brezovec has been cut.

Silva lands a big right hand that sends Brezovec crashing to the mat! Silva stays standing though and waves Brezovec back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brezovec shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Brezovec is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva is looking to slow Brezovec down with leg kicks.
Brezovec seems to have recovered his senses.
Brezovec looks gassed!
Silva cracks Brezovec on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Brezovec falls backwards against the cage. Silva follows up with more strikes that drop Brezovec to his knees. Silva keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Brezovec! This one is all over!

Dacke fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ricester sprawls well initially but Dacke persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dacke looks to land a strike but Ricester avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ricester escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dacke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ricester is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Ricester is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dacke rolls with it to try and escape but Ricester cranks on the arm and Dacke is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

I think Daniels might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to H²O- Heart on my Sleeve. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!
