The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Figgs dodges the punch combination from Hanes.
A left and a right from Hanes both land. Nice combination. Hanes cracks Figgs with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Figgs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hanes sprawls well initially but Figgs persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Figgs throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Figgs not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hanes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Figgs. Figgs with the ground and pound but Hanes uses the opportunity to regain guard. Figgs throwing strikes but missing. Figgs preventing the sweep. Figgs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hanes tries to strike from the bottom.

Frankie Figgs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanes stuffs the takedown. Figgs fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Figgs tries to close the distance and clinch but Hanes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Danga de danga de dang - Hanes scores with a four punch combination! Hanes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A punch combination from Hanes misses. Hanes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hanes lands the left hand. Hanes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hanes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Figgs. Hanes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Figgs. Hanes throws a right and a left that Figgs avoids nicely. Hanes has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Figgs takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hanes misses with a few strikes there.
Hanes stalks Figgs and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Figgs's face. Figgs staggers backwards, shaken.
Figgs is rocked! Hanes closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Figgs out cold! Figgs corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malurky throws a right and a left that both miss. Kanaka tries to bum rush Malurky with a series of wild strikes but Malurky uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Malurky throws a series of punches but Kanaka moves out of range. Malurky lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Malurky throws a chopping leg kick but Kanaka manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Malurky throws a right hand that Kanaka ducks under and follows up with a left that Kanaka also avoids with ease. Malurky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A lazy left from Malurky finds it's target. Kanaka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Malurky pinned against the cage. Malurky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Malurky throws a series of punches but Kanaka moves out of range. Kanaka moves into the clinch. Kanaka successfully pulls guard.
Malurky works a leg free and moves into half guard. Malurky looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Malurky seems to be looking for submissions.

Malurky anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kanaka and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Malurky slips an arm under Kanaka chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Malurky has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Malurky is squeezing on Kanaka like an anaconda would it's prey. Kanaka fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock slaps away a takedown attempt from Aloha, before circling back to the center of the mat. Aloha avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aloha looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Aloha shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Aloha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rock is keeping the position for now. Rock pulls Aloha in close to prevent any damage. Rock looking to control.

Natua sprawls well initially but Quinn persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Quinn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Natua trying to hold on to Quinn's head to control him but Quinn postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Natua might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Quinn kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Quinn is figuring out what he wants to do next. Legba has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Castillas clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Legba not allowing Castillas to control his hands. Legba struggling to land strikes to the head as Castillas covers up. Castillas covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
