2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Corey Alves! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alves as he avoids it easily. Alves closes the distance and clinches up with Watson, looking for a takedown. Alves pushes Watson against the cage but Watson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Alves darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Alves throwing shots but Watson is blocking nicely. Watson is pressing down on Alves's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Alves cracks Watson with a solid left hand. Alves lands a couple of elbows. Alves preventing the sweep. Alves landing some decent shots from guard. Watson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alves manages to get himself to full guard.
Alves seems keen to control Watson's posture. Alves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Watson defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Alves is keeping the position for now. Alves is trying to control the position but Watson postures up. Watson slips nicely into half guard. Watson works his way into side control. Watson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alves looks calm but he's in trouble here. Watson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alves is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Watson lets go of the hold and Alves can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raskolnikov staying out of range there. Bautista ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raskolnikov moves away. Raskolnikov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bautista ducks right into an uppercut from Raskolnikov.
It looks like Allan Bautista has been cut. Raskolnikov scores with a nice right hand.
Bautista shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Raskolnikov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bautista darts in trying to clinch and Raskolnikov counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Raskolnikov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A lazy left from Raskolnikov finds it's target. Bautista takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Bautista is breathing heavily. Raskolnikov stuns Bautista with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Raskolnikov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bautista looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Raskolnikov moves into the clinch successfully.
Raskolnikov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bautista or not. Raskolnikov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raskolnikov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Raskolnikov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Raskolnikov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bautistas head. Raskolnikov stops a takedown attempt from Bautista.
Raskolnikov lands a right hand. Raskolnikov lands a nice shot to the body. Raskolnikov breaks the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toglas tries for a takedown but Kishigawa circles away easily and Kishigawa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Andrew Kishigawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Toglas blocks the leg kick.
Toglas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kishigawa shoots and misses and Toglas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Toglas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kishigawa is trying to defend but Toglas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kishigawa manages to get to full guard.

Toglas misses with a takedown attempt - Kishigawa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flauterio Toglas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kishigawa. You can see the frustration on Toglas's face as Kishigawa controls the position. Kishigawa decides to stand back up. Kishigawa steps back and let's Toglas get back to his feet. Kishigawa connects with a solid leg kick. Toglas is breathing heavily. Kishigawa throws a leg kick and Toglas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kishigawa won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kishigawa regains half guard. Kishigawa gets full guard. Toglas stopping the sweep attempt from Kishigawa. Kishigawa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's five minutes gone in the round. Kishigawa get's back to his feet. Kishigawa misses the shot to the body. Toglas moves out of range of the leg kick from Kishigawa. Kishigawa fails in his attempt to clinch. Kishigawa attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kishigawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Toglas swats him away and circles back towards the center. Toglas lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kishigawa gets the takedown into side control. Kishigawa works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Kishigawa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kishigawa controlling from side mount.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Toglas is trying to improve his position. Kishigawa passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Toglas! Kishigawa get's back to his feet. Kishigawa throws a leg kick and Toglas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kishigawa shoots and misses and Toglas counters with a left and a right that stings Kishigawa. Kishigawa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Toglas stops Kishigawa from passing to mount. Toglas is looking to reverse the position.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Kishigawa is trying to get an arm triangle but Toglas is defending well. Toglas regains half guard. Kishigawa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Toglas is just riding it out for now. Kishigawa eventually gives up the hold. Kishigawa trying to control the action but Toglas is working from the bottom. Kishigawa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kishigawa sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kishigawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Toglas keeps working.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Toglas looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Toglas is staying active underneath Kishigawa, who seems content to just control the action from this position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kishigawa stands up and beckons Toglas to join him on the feet. Toglas throws a sloppy head kick and Kishigawa moves out of range easily. Kishigawa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Toglas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Toglas has his takedown stuffed and Kishigawa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Kishigawa moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Kishigawa throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kishigawa misses with a wild body shot. Kishigawa throws a leg kick but Toglas sees it coming and moves out of range. Kishigawa gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Toglas trying to land knees to the body.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Kishigawa misses with a takedown attempt and Toglas counters with a three punch combo that has Kishigawa backing up. Kishigawa nods at Toglas to acknowledge the strikes. Toglas looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Toglas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kishigawa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Toglas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Toglas is looking to take a break and control but Kishigawa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kishigawa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Toglas is looking for a kimura but Kishigawa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Toglas to get the leverage.

Kishigawa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Toglas is working away from the top position though. Kishigawa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kishigawa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Toglas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Toglas's back! Toglas wants to control his opponent's hands but Kishigawa gets his hands free. Toglas tries to escape but Kishigawa has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kishigawa not allowing Toglas to control his hands. Toglas is trying to get back to his feet but Kishigawa has full control of the position and if anything, Toglas has just worked his way into a worse spot. Kishigawa avoiding Toglas 's attempts to control his hands. Toglas tries to break free.
Toglas is working hard here to advance position. Kishigawa is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Toglas is trapped and Kishigawa is scoring with shots to the head and body. Kishigawa is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Toglas won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kishigawa off his unconscious opponent!

Saladin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Pacquiao shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saladin eats them both and turns towards Pacquiao to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Saladin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pacquiao counters with a left and a right that stings Saladin. Saladin misses with a left hand letting Pacquiao counter with a right hand. Saladin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. This has been an exciting period of action! Saladin misses with a body shot.

and Pacquiao counters with a left and a right that stings Saladin. Saladin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. and Pacquiao counters with a straight right hand. Saladin lands a glancing blow to the side of Pacquiao's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saladin looks to land a combination but Pacquiao avoids it well. Saladin lands a head kick!
Pacquiao is rocked! Saladin connects with a leg kick. Pacquiao looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Saladin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Pacquiao tumbling to the canvas! Saladin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Pacquiao was done - good stoppage!

and Kim counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kim being controlled here momentarily.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Brown wants to stand but Kim is controlling the position. Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kim throws a big right hand that misses. Brown keeping full guard, as Kim tries to pass. Kim's corner is telling him to maintain position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kim scores with a jab. Brown tries to clinch but Kim moves out of range. Brown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brown wants it to stay on the feet. Brown gets a takedown into half guard. Brown wants to stand up but Kim is controlling the position.
Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kim's head. Brown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kim defending well though. Kim keeping hold of Brown's head, controlling as best he can.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Brown missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kim regains full guard. Nicely done. Kim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kim looking for a guillotine here but Brown defends easily.

Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kim works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brown missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kim's guard. Brown stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Kim throws up his legs and catches Brown in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Brown tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Kim! That came out of nowhere!
