The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azevedo misses with an uppercut. Stephens saw that one coming. Azevedo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stephens doesn't seem bothered though. Stephens stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stephens wants it to stay on the feet. Azevedo throws a right hand that Stephens ducks under and follows up with a left that Stephens also avoids with ease. Stephens looks for the body kick but Azevedo saw that one coming. Azevedo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stephens circles away quickly and effectively. Stephens misses with a body kick. Azevedo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Azevedo pushes Stephens off and gets back to his feet.
Stephens stuffs the takedown attempt from Azevedo. Azevedo gets slowly back to his feet. Azevedo looks to land a left hand but Stephens moved out of range nicely. Azevedo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Azevedo throws a hook to the side of Stephens's head but Stephens sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Azevedo misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stephens throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stephens throws a lazy right hand but Azevedo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Azevedo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Jose Azevedo has been cut. Azevedo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stephens moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Azevedo is breathing heavily. Stephens staying out of range there. Azevedo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stephens moves away. Stephens gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Azevedo counters with a left to the body. Stephens doesn't succeed with the takedown and Azevedo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Azevedo stuns Stephens with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Azevedo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Azevedo throws a leg kick but Stephens sees it coming and checks it nicely. Stephens misses with a low kick. Azevedo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Azevedo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Azevedo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Azevedo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stephens was covering up waiting for the punch and Azevedo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stephens keeping full guard, as Azevedo tries to pass. Stephens is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Azevedo is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Azevedo tries to free his leg and advance position but Stephens is retaining full guard. Azevedo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Azevedo stands up from Stephens's guard - Azevedo perhaps looking for a knockout. Nice sprawl there from Stephens as Azevedo shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Azevedo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stephens doesn't succeed with the takedown and Azevedo counters with a left to the body. Azevedo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stephens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Azevedo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stephens is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Azevedo has just dragged him back down to the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Azevedo trying to control the action but Stephens is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Jeremy Stephens has been cut. Azevedo throws a series of punches but Stephens avoids them all with ease. Azevedo cracks Stephens with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Azevedo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stephens circles away quickly and effectively. Stephens is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Azevedo's half guard. Stephens thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Azevedo's head. Stephens thows an elbow strike that misses. Azevedo gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Stephens doesn't seem too bothered but Azevedo quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Stephens is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Stephens really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.

It looks like Paulo Silva has been cut. Vos cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vos has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up! This has been an exciting period of action! Vos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vos slips a straight right by Silva. Vos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva is looking to clinch. Silva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Vos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away. Silva dodges the punch combination from Vos.

Vos drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vos is looking for the KO!
Paulo Silva's cut is getting worse. Silva is breathing heavily. Vos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Vos. Vos checks the leg kick nicely there.
Silva tries to clinch but Vos is having none of it. Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vos.
Vos lands a jab to Silva's midsection. Vos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Paulo Silva's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Vos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vos throws an overhand right that has Silva reeling! Vos follows up with more punches and Silva is out cold! This one is all over!

It looks like Ben Schaefer has been cut. Schaefer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A jab-cross combination lands for Chuva and sends Schaefer crashing to the mat! Chuva follows him down to the mat - Schaefer regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chuva wants to stand up but Schaefer is controlling the position.
Chuva takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Schaefer is trying to get back to full guard. Schaefer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Schaefer is trying to maintain the position but Chuva is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chuva wants to pass the guard but Schaefer is defending well. Chuva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schaefer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chuva thows a body shot but no joy. Schaefer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Chuva lands with a shot to the body. Schaefer looks gassed! Chuva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Schaefer.

Schaefer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chuva. A combination from Chuva does no damage. No joy there for Chuva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chuva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schaefer manages to avoid it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Schaefer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schaefer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schaefer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Schaefer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chuva is trying to improve his position. Chuva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Schaefer off and has taken his back! Schaefer tries to break free.
Chuva tries to get the hooks in deep but Schaefer pushed the leg off. I would not like to be Schaefer right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schaefer looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Chuva controls the position. Chuva struggling to keep hold of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schaefer rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schaefer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schaefer pushes down on Chuva's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chuva tries to roll over but Schaefer keeps him under control. Schaefer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Schaefer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chuva moves into full guard.
Schaefer drops back looking for a leg! Chuva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chuva manages to kick Schaefer off! Schaefer jumps back into Chuva's guard. Schaefer won't allow Chuva to sweep him here. Chuva looking for a guillotine here but Schaefer defends easily.

Chuva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schaefer is aware though and is defending well. Schaefer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Chuva keeping moving, preventing Schaefer from controlling successfully. Schaefer distracts Chuva with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Chuva is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Schaefer has his hands clasped together but Chuva extends an breaks Schaefer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Chuva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le Banner throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Le Banner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Royo. Royo circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A solid leg kick lands there for Royo.
Royo misses the shot to the body. Royo misses with a wild body shot. Le Banner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Le Banner trying to stand up but can't free himself from Royo's guard. Royo pulls Le Banner in close to his closed guard and prevents Le Banner from doing any damage or advancing position. Le Banner wants to control from the top but Royo keeps moving. Royo has a closed guard, preventing Le Banner from standing up.

Royo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Le Banner lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Royo breaks from the clinch.

Royo looks to land a left hand but Le Banner moved out of range nicely. Royo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Le Banner's sensitive parts. Le Banner drops his hands momentarily and Royo needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Le Banner just on the top of the head. Le Banner drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Le Banner - he's done!

Heart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kroton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kroton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kroton wants to sweep but no luck. Heart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Heart makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kroton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Heart defends it easily. Kroton wants to hit a switch here but Heart passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kroton there! Heart working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kroton turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Heart off and cradles Kroton's limp body as Heart celebrates with his corner.
