The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chakraborti connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mitkhun Chakraborti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chakraborti drops Bear with a nice combination! Chakraborti dives into Bear's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Vladamir Bear has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bear looking for a sweep. Not yet Bear, not yet. Bear is pulling down on Chakraborti's head to control his posture. Bear manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bear controlling from the full mount. Chakraborti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bear. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LaRusso scores with a hook to the body. Masato takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. LaRusso buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
LaRusso is looking to slow Masato down with leg kicks. Masato doesn't manage to clinch there - LaRusso circles away.
Masato tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Danga de danga de dang - LaRusso scores with a four punch combination! The crowd cheers as LaRusso lands an impressive looking overhand right. Masato doesn't seem phased though. LaRusso moves out of range as Masato throws a body kick.
Masato scores with a kick to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. LaRusso lands with a kick to the ribs.
Masato looks gassed! LaRusso misses with the combination.
A cross from LaRusso lands. Masato scores with a jab to the body. Masato tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling LaRusso to counter with a crisp jab. Masato lands a jab to LaRusso's midsection. LaRusso connects with a leg kick. Masato looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. LaRusso scores with a punch to the head.

Noted by the judges no doubt. the EXPENDIBLE throws a nice looking combination but yellowfort bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. yellowfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but the EXPENDIBLE moves out of range and avoids them all easily. yellowfort throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and yellowfort counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. the EXPENDIBLE misses with a straight right. yellowfort misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Sato counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brown's guard now. Brown managing to control the position. Brown wants to stand and escape but Sato is having none of it. Brown tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brown has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sato has passed into side control.
Sato tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sato's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Brown tries to roll over but Sato keeps him under control. Sato wants to stand but Brown has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Brown is holding on to half guard well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brown is looking to improve his position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Brown works his way to full guard. Good work. Brown wants to sweep here but Sato controlling him for the moment. Brown is working hard here to advance position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A head kick by Brown misses and Sato counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that. Brown looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Brown on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brown tries to get out of the position. Sato won't allow Brown to sweep him here. Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sato wants to stand but Brown is controlling his posture from full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Brown looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sato is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Justin Brown. Brown closes the distance and lands a one-two. Sato is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brown misses with a double jab
and Sato counters with a leg kick. Brown throws a head kick that misses and Sato makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sato counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brown stalks Sato and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sato's face. Sato staggers backwards, shaken. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ukyo Sato dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sato crunches a lovely knee into Brown's ribcage. Sato is trying to maintain a safe position but Brown gets an underhook and turns Sato into the ropes. Sato has Brown pressed up against the ropes in a tight Thai clinch. Brown is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Sato - that's hurt Brown badly! Oh, another knee lands and Brown is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Brown doesn't seem to be complaining.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruce takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bruce scores with a jab. Herdum acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bruce lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Herdum. Herdum looks to land a body kick but Bruce moved away. Herdum lands a head kick that stumbles Bruce and the fighters go to the mat.
It looks like Joseph Bruce has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Herdum tries to stand but Bruce is controlling from the bottom. Bruce is breathing heavily. Herdum stands up from Bruce's guard - Herdum perhaps looking for a knockout.
