Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Xueijin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Murphy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Xueijin's waist but Xueijin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murphy off to one side.
Murphy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Xueijin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Xueijin misses with a few strikes there.
Nice takedown defense from Xueijin. No joy for Murphy on that attempt.
Xueijin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Murphy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Murphy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xueijin tries to avoid it but Murphy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xueijin to the ground. Xueijin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Murphy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
