13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lions Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Usagi! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Head throws a hook to the side of Usagi's head but Usagi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Head scores with a head kick.
It looks like Miyamoto Usagi has been cut. A head kick lands from Head that sends Usagi to the canvas. Usagi tries to scramble back to his feet but Head brings him back down into side control.
Usagi is rocked! Head tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Usagi is still in real trouble! Can Head finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Usagi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Head is controlling him well. Usagi seems to have recovered his senses. Usagi tries to buck Head off but Head is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Head working away. Usagi tries to buck Head off but Head is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Usagi tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Head presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Usagi wants to hold on but Head pushes him away. Head tries to control but Usagi wriggling away. Head prevents Usagi from getting the reversal. Usagi wants to control but Head is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Head tries to control but Usagi wriggling away. Usagi wants to hold on but Head pushes him away. Usagi is squirming around, avoiding Head's attempts to control the action. Usagi tries to hold on but Head pushes him away. Usagi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Head controlling from the full mount. Head swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Usagi is now in Head's guard. A big mistake from Head there, giving up the dominant position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lions Head dominated that round. The cut man is working on Miyamoto Usagi's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Head tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Usagi was well out of range. Poor timing from Head. Left hook, right uppercut from Head. Usagi swings away with a body shot that misses
and Head counters with a nice body kick.
Head tries to land a front kick but Usagi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Head throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Head throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Usagi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Head's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Usagi advances to half guard. Usagi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Head sees it coming and defends easily. Head is trying to get back to full guard. Head is in trouble now - Usagi has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Usagi working the ground and pound effectively.
Usagi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Head has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Usagi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Head is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Head and Usagi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Head is trying to get back to half guard. Head tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Usagi presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Usagi is looking to work his way around to Head's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Head is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Usagi with the ground and pound from mount. Head tries to get back to half guard but can't. Head is working hard here to advance position. Usagi misses with a head shot. Head tries to hold on but Usagi pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Head is squirming around, avoiding Usagi's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Usagi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Head looks a forlorn figure.
It looks like Lions Head has been cut. Head tries to hold on but Usagi postures up. Usagi looking to secure an arm triangle but Head defends it well. Usagi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Head can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Head tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Usagi is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Head has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Head! Usagi trying to keep a closed guard but Head is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Head slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miyamoto Usagi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Head looks to land a body kick but Usagi moved away. Usagi scores with a shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Head. Head throws a head kick that misses. Head throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Head pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Usagi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Head. Usagi shoots in and bounces Head off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Usagi looking to sit in guard and control but Head gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Head has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Head stopping the sweep attempt from Usagi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Usagi pulls Head in close to his closed guard and prevents Head from doing any damage or advancing position. Usagi looking for a sweep. Not yet Usagi, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Usagi pulls Head in to control the position. Head is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Usagi trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lions Head. Head with a nice cross. Head avoids the body shot from Usagi.
Head takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Usagi drives through and clinches with Head against the cage.
Head swings wildly with an uppercut but Usagi uses good head movement to avoid it. Head is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Head can't find room to land a body shot as Usagi controls the action.
Head lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Head is looking to control Usagi's arms but Usagi gets an underhook and turns him. Now Head has his back to the cage. Head manages to pull guard.
Usagi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Usagi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Head is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Head has escaped and now he's on top! Usagi trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Usagi pulls Head in close to prevent any damage. Head stands and steps away. Usagi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that's the end of the fight! Lions Head showed his dominance in that final round. I think Head has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

You can see the frustration on Blaskey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Blaskey is trying to improve his position. Blaskey wants to control but Everson postures up. Everson decides to stand back up. Everson steps back and let's Blaskey get back to his feet. Rusty Everson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Blaskey misses with a left hand and Everson counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blaskey looking for a sweep but Everson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Everson tries to control but Blaskey wriggling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Rusty Everson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Everson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillan shoots in looking for a takedown. Minard tries to sprawl out of it but Dillan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Minard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dillan shoots in for a takedown but Minard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Minard slips a jab from Dillan. Dillan misses with a straight right. Dillan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Minard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dillan's head backwards. Dillan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Dillan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Minard with a jab. Minard throws a right hand that misses

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick by Ballinger misses and Knuckles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Knuckles feints and then cracks Ballinger's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ballinger down. Ballinger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knuckles. Knuckles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ballinger throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Knuckles counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ballinger thinking. A right-left combo lands from Knuckles. Knuckles bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ballinger's head backwards. Knuckles lands an overhand right. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Knuckles throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ballinger on the side of the head. Knuckles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ballinger stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Knuckles. Ballinger looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knuckles connects with a jab. Ballinger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ballinger takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ballinger misses with a takedown and Knuckles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nice body kick there by Knuckles. Knuckles lands a brutal head kick. Ballinger looks out on his feet and Knuckles throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Atkins has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Atkins is squeezing on Bavis like an anaconda would it's prey. Bavis fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. East throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gracie thows a leg kick but East checks it and East counters with a nice uppercut. East takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. East throws a right hand that misses
and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand. East feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gracie's calf. East slips a jab from Gracie. Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. East is desperately trying to improve his position but Gracie has a good base and remains in mount. Gracie raining down shots from the mount! Gracie working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Al Al Kaholic ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alistar Overeem! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Al Kaholic on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Overeem throws a leg kick that is checked letting Al Kaholic counter with a right hand. Overeem throws a body kick the misses and Al Kaholic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Al Kaholic lands a leg kick that knocks Overeem off balance momentarily. Al Kaholic dips to his left and cracks Overeem with an uppercut! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Overeem throws a leg kick and Al Kaholic counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Al Kaholic looking to finish!
Overeem is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Al Kaholic wants to pass the guard but Overeem is keeping the position. Overeem is still in real trouble! Can Al Kaholic finish him? Al Kaholic is looking to work some ground and pound but Overeem has wrist control. Overeem seems to have recovered his senses. Al Kaholic scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Kaholic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Al Kaholic is working Overeem over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Al Kaholic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Overeem keeping moving, preventing Al Kaholic from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Kaholic trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Overeem utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Al Kaholic landing with the ground and pound. Al Kaholic works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Al Kaholic uses his free foot to push down on Overeem's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Overeem. Overeem is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Al Kaholic sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Al Kaholic controlling from mount. Al Kaholic with shots to the head and body - Overeem looks very uncomfortable down there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Al Kaholic controlling from the full mount. Al Kaholic scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Overeem throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Al Kaholic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A head kick by Overeem misses and Al Kaholic counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Overeem! Overeem taking shots to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Al Kaholic lands a big shot there that rocks Overeem but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Overeem is rocked! The referee warns Overeem that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Overeem is still in real trouble! Can Al Kaholic finish him? Al Kaholic controlling from the full mount. Overeem seems to have recovered his senses. Overeem is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Al Kaholic with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Al Kaholic trying to control but he's not successful this time. BOOM! Al Kaholic connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Overeem is rocked! Al Kaholic is in the full mount, landing strikes. Al Kaholic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Al Kaholic looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Al Kaholic dominating with strikes here. Overeem is still in real trouble! Can Al Kaholic finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Al Kaholic softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Overeem is out cold! Al Kaholic jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
