Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Osana Bin Laden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexis Mandapat! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bin Laden stuffs the takedown attempt from Mandapat. Mandapat gets slowly back to his feet. Mandapat misses with a takedown attempt - Bin Laden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bin Laden closes the distance and clinches up with Mandapat, looking for a takedown. Bin Laden pushes Mandapat against the cage but Mandapat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mandapat wants to clinch but Bin Laden slips to the side and Bin Laden moves into the clinch. Bin Laden is pushing Mandapat up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bin Laden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mandapat stuffs the takedown attempt from Bin Laden. Bin Laden gets slowly back to his feet. Bin Laden rushes Mandapat and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mandapat fails to pull guard.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mandapat shoots for a double leg takedown but Bin Laden sprawls well. He's pushed Mandapat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mandapat stuffs the takedown attempt from Bin Laden. Bin Laden gets slowly back to his feet. Bin Laden fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mandapat shoots in looking for a takedown but Bin Laden manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mandapat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mandapat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bin Laden but Bin Laden pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Good anticipation by Bin Laden. Bin Laden has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mandapat regains guard immediately. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Osana Bin Laden will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bin Laden distracts Mandapat with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bin Laden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mandapat works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Osana Bin Laden. Well Bin Laden has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Emelianenko lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Smalling leaves Emelianenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Smalling feints a jab promting Emelianenko to slip. Smalling then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Emelianenko slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Smalling changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Smalling rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Emelianenko moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Smalling lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Si tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tiongson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Lupoy Si has been cut. Si stuffs the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Si as Tiongson shoots in. Si tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tiongson counters with a nice right hand that sends Si toppling to the canvas! Si scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tiongson finish him?! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Si clinches with his opponent.

It looks like Bwakanang Disi has been cut. Daga darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Daga prevents Disi from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Disi is trying to control but can't.
Daga landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Daga seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Daga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Disi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Daga. Disi is trying to get back to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marquez tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Salace counter with a right hand.
