The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peusjaetkae closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Peusjaetkae trying to control the action but Courage is working from the bottom. Courage tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Peusjaetkae wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Courage's face as Peusjaetkae controls the position. Peusjaetkae misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Courage tries to get back to half guard but can't. Peusjaetkae lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Courage down.
Courage struggling a bit here. Peusjaetkae decides to stand up, so the ref orders Courage to his feet. Courage with a lazy takedown attempt and Peusjaetkae counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Courage's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Courage doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Moxon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Moxon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Moxon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowan. Rowan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moxon is trying to defend but Rowan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rowan is thwarting Moxon's attempts to control the position. Moxon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rowan scores with a couple of nice shots. Moxon wants to control but Rowan is keeping busy and won't allow it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Safronov keeps the fight on the outside. Savage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Safronov keeping moving, preventing Savage from controlling successfully. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Steele wants to free his trapped foot but Baggs is holding on for dear life with his legs. Baggs is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Steele pulls his head out easily. Baggs is trying to stand up here but Steele is controlling him well. Steele trying to control from half guard but Baggs is working away. Baggs is looking for a sweep. Steele is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Baggs trying to control but Steele postures up.
Baggs is in trouble now - Steele has advanced to mount! Steele with good strikes from the mount here! Steele is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Baggs is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Baggs flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Steele anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Baggs and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Steele slips an arm under Baggs chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Steele has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Steele is squeezing on Baggs like an anaconda would it's prey. Baggs fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
