The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Souza is looking to clinch. Magnum throws a hook but Souza blocks it. Magnum misses with a body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Magnum drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Souza stalks Magnum and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Magnum's face. Magnum staggers backwards, shaken. Magnum checks the leg kick. Souza lands a jab to the nose. Magnum misses with a double jab
and Souza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Magnum misses with a body shot.
Souza lands with a shot to the body. Souza is looking to clinch. Magnum throws a big shot that misses. Magnum connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sloppy strikes from Souza. Those never looked like landing. Magnum moves out of range as Souza strikes. Souza lands a two punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Souza throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Souza misses with a wild combination.
Sloppy strikes from Souza. Those never looked like landing. Magnum throws a left and a right that both miss
and Souza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Magnum takes one to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magnum takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Souza missing with a left hand there. Magnum was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A slow jab from Souza misses its intended target. Magnum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Souza circles away quickly and effectively. Souza misses with a straight left. Magnum jabbing away but nothing is landing. A jab from Magnum misses. Souza showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Magnum.

and Souza counters with a lovely shot to the body. Magnum with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Souza to score with a decent uppercut. Magnum with a body punch. A glancing blow. Souza slips a jab from Magnum. Magnum misses with a combination
and Souza counters with a two punch combo. Magnum is breathing heavily. A swing and a miss from Magnum. Souza moves out of range as Magnum strikes. Souza throws a series of punches but Magnum avoids them all with ease. Magnum just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Souza tries to move into range but Magnum moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Magnum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Souza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Magnum swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Magnum closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Magnum throws a left and a right that both miss
and Souza counters with a three punch combo that has Magnum backing up. Magnum nods at Souza to acknowledge the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Magnum throws a poor cross that misses
and Souza counters with a left and a right that stings Magnum. Magnum ducks right into an uppercut from Souza. Magnum scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Magnum takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Magnum, as that shot connected.
Magnum takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pete Magnum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magnum thuds a left hand into Souza's body. Magnum lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Souza falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from O Grady. Those never looked like landing. Knight shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as O Grady sprawls well. O Grady wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Knight gets slowly back to his feet. O Grady misses with a jab, cross combination.
Knight fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but O Grady avoids it really well and circles away. O Grady misses with a looping left. O Grady looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. O Grady fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. O Grady stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and O Grady wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darque Knight. That's going to take a lot out of him. O Grady throws a nice looking combination but Knight bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. O Grady throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knight stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. O Grady will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
O Grady looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sloppy strikes from O Grady. Those never looked like landing. O Grady keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sloppy strikes from O Grady. Those never looked like landing. Knight looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? O Grady is fending him off so far but Knight persists. Nope, O Grady circles away and we're back to standing. Knight shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says O Grady as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight shoots for a double leg takedown but O Grady sprawls well. He's pushed Knight's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. O Grady leaves Knight with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A right-left combo lands from O Grady. O Grady throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. O Grady bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. O Grady paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. O Grady avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Knight counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in O Grady's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! O Grady is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Knight throwing strikes but missing. Knight stops O Grady from standing up. O Grady really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Knight drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Knight jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. O Grady is looking to stand up but Knight isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. O Grady pulls Knight in to control the position. Knight with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Knight drops back looking for a leg! O Grady is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and O Grady manages to kick Knight off! Knight jumps back into O Grady's guard. Knight forces his way into half guard. Knight wants to work for an arm triangle but O Grady is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
O Grady is positioning himself well to prevent Knight advancing to mount. Knight lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Grady blocking the ground and pound attempt from Knight. Knight is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for O Grady! Knight cracks O Grady with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Knight cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
O Grady in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knight is landing with some decent strikes but O Grady is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. O Grady takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Knight's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Armageddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Shoryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shoryu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Undertaking the Work of the Lord by Hatewire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Alistair Armageddon had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shoryu slips a jab and a cross from Armageddon.
Armageddon throws a series of punches but Shoryu avoids them all with ease. Shoryu throws a nice inside leg kick. Armageddon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shoryu counters with a head kick. That will keep Armageddon thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Shoryu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Armageddon's calf. Armageddon lands an overhand right. Armageddon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shoryu lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Armageddon throws a body punch but Shoryu moves out of range. Shoryu lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Armageddon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Armageddon is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crunch! Shoryu slams his shin into Armageddon's torso. Armageddon is breathing heavily. Shoryu slips a jab and a cross from Armageddon.

Ken Shoryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shoryu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Armageddon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oh Armageddon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A jab from Armageddon misses. Armageddon seems to have got his legs back now. Whack! Shoryu lands a heavy head kick that drops Armageddon. The ref tackles Shoryu to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Armageddon was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muchacho fails to land with a series of punches.
Muchacho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Muchacho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mockalatz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Muchacho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Mockalatz to counter with a crisp jab. Muchacho tries for a takedown but Mockalatz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mockalatz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A low kick from Mockalatz misses and Muchacho counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mockalatz has a couple of punches blocked by Muchacho.
Muchacho is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Mockalatz taking a breather. Muchacho makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mockalatz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Muchacho doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mockalatz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Ivan Muchacho has been cut. Joe Mockalatz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Muchacho. Mockalatz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mockalatz tests Muchacho's chin there with a solid looking shot. Muchacho tries to clinch up. Mockalatz attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Muchacho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mockalatz did well to prevent Muchacho getting side control. Mockalatz tries to roll over but Muchacho keeps him under control. Muchacho throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Muchacho trying to keep a closed guard but Mockalatz is proving a slippery customer.

Muchacho has escaped and now he's on top! Mockalatz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Muchacho's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mockalatz wants to control from the top but Muchacho keeps moving. Mockalatz wants to pass the guard but Muchacho is keeping the position. Mockalatz trying to control the position from guard on top but Muchacho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mockalatz throws a big right hand that misses. Muchacho wants to sweep but no luck. Mockalatz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mockalatz scoring with some ground and pound. Mockalatz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Muchacho, up you get! Mockalatz misses with a takedown attempt and Muchacho counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Muchacho trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mockalatz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Muchacho is one step ahead there. Mockalatz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Muchacho looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Joe Mockalatz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Muchacho. Mockalatz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A low kick from Muchacho is predictable there and Mockalatz counters with a stiff right hand. A shot to the body from Mockalatz misses and Muchacho counters with a nice double leg into guard. Muchacho sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mockalatz's guard. Mockalatz wants to improve his position but Muchacho is controlling well.
