Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown but Matijevic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Dos Santos lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Matijevic sprawling to the canvas. Dos Santos follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Matijevic hang on?

It looks like Marijan Matijevic has been cut.
Matijevic is breathing heavily.
Matijevic has hold of Dos Santos's hands but Dos Santos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dos Santos escapes and gets back to his feet.
Dos Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Matijevic swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Matijevic loses concentration momentarily and Dos Santos pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Matijevic crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Dos Santos finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Desabafo - Marcelo D2. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Silva throws a nice looking combination but Hernandez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hernandez's guard.

Jon Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hernandez pinned against the cage. Hernandez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ramon Hernandez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Chuteboxe should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Chuteboxe is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kawashima is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chuteboxe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Chuteboxe might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kawashima has got the better of the exchanges.
