The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deere closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Deere landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Monkey is not content to let Deere control the position. Deere keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Deere throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Deere has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Monkey working to try and regain half guard.
Monkey is bucking up trying to escape but Deere cracks him with another couple of good strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Deere is working for a guillotine from mount but Monkey frees his head quite easily.
Deere has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Monkey is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boekee was well out of range. Poor timing from Harris. Boekee fails with the takedown and Harris counters with a slapping leg kick. Harris misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boekee.
Boekee tries to clinch up and Harris counters with an inside leg kick. Harris lands a front kick. Boekee is breathing heavily. Boekee fails with the takedown and Harris counters with a thumping low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boekee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Harris lands a big head kick that sends Boekee to the canvas! Harris follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lion tries to clinch but fails miserably and Van der sar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Van der sar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lion pushes Van der sar off but Van der sar dives into side control.
Lion tries to improve position but can't. Van der sar tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Lion is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Van der sar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lion keeps working. Lion can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van der sar is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lion is trying to escape and Van der sar transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lion is forced to tap! Nice work there by Van der sar! Very nice indeed!

Dabull tried to score with a low kick but Castello checks it. Dabull tries to land a front kick but Castello steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. An inside leg kick from Dabull misses. Dabull tried to score with a low kick but Castello checks it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dabull. Castello tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dabull swivels and escapes. Dabull tries a head kick but it misses.

Dabull knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Castello tries to advance to mount but Dabull denies him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dabull can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dabull is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Castello wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dabull keeps working.

Castello in side control, just content to control the action for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Castello throws an elbow but Dabull slips to the side and avoids it well. That was a close second round but I would say that Mauro Castello will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ralph fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Xayle on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Xayle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Xayle tries to control but Ralph wriggling away. Horrible takedown by Xayle or perhaps it was just good defense by Ralph which made him look bad. Ralph swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ralph wants it to stay on the feet. Ralph stuffs the takedown attempt from Xayle. Xayle gets slowly back to his feet. Ralph throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Xayle. Xayle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ralph defends it nicely. Xayle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Xayle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Xayle there as he acknowledges the shot. Ralph misses with a looping right. Ralph lands a nice looking body shot.
