These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilbert Poppe! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tentotlon throws a leg kick but Poppe moved away. Poppe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tentotlon, pushing him back against the cage. Tentotlon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Poppe jumps into guard, dragging Tentotlon to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Poppe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tentotlon has picked Poppe up and slammed him! Poppe can't keep hold of the triangle and Tentotlon manages to pass to side control! Poppe tries to bench press Tentotlon off him but Tentotlon keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poppe looking for a sweep but Tentotlon has passed into full mount! Oh no! Tentotlon avoids the attempt from Poppe to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poppe working to try and regain half guard.
Tentotlon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Poppe tries to improve his position but Tentotlon has taken his back! Tentotlon has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Poppe tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Tentotlon pushes Poppe away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones dives in and grabs Nosnom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nosnom pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. Nosnom throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Nosnom stuffs the takedown. Nosnom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nosnom throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Nosnom prevents the takedown attempt.

Nosnom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Nosnom, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Nosnom against the cage but Nosnom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nosnom lands a nice looking body shot.

Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jones avoids the head kick by Nosnom.
And that's the end of the fight! Snowman Nosnom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nosnom winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Richards is not content to let Hernandez control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richards is trying to buck Hernandez off. Hernandez lands some shots froms side control. Richards tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hernandez wants to stand but Richards has his arm trapped. Hernandez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richards keeps working. Richards is looking for a sweep. Richards avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hernandez. Hernandez misses with the ground and pound. Richards is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hernandez connects with a decent elbow. Richards is trying to work for a sweep but Hernandez has mounted him! Hernandez moves to take his opponent's back.

Pounder pushes down on Garza's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pounder maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Garza could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pounder has cracked it and Garza is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pounder!

Jingler is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Jingler tries to keep at a distance but Jackson has taken the fight into the clinch. Jackson throws a head punch that misses. A quick uppercut on the inside from Jackson. Jingler is rocked! Jackson drops Jingler onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jingler is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Jingler is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him? Jackson gets control of Jingler's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jingler wants to stand and escape but instead Jackson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jingler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Jingler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson! Jingler seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jingler keeps working. Jingler tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Ken Omigawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Granger. Omigawa throws a quick inside leg kick. Omigawa stuffs the takedown attempt from Granger. Granger gets slowly back to his feet. Granger fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Omigawa plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Omigawa looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Granger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Granger looks gassed! Granger has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Omigawa. Omigawa jabs Granger to the body, keeping him at a distance. Omigawa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Omigawa connects with a body shot that sends Granger's belly button to the back. This has been an exciting period of action! Omigawa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Granger back to the cage. Omigawa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The crowd cheers as Omigawa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Granger doesn't seem phased though. Omigawa lands a jab to the nose. Omigawa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Omigawa lands with a shot to the body. Omigawa throws a leg kick which misses Granger's front leg but catches the back leg as Granger tries to avoid it. Omigawa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Omigawa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Granger sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Granger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Omigawa. Ken Omigawa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick from Omigawa lands but Granger takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Granger shoots in but no luck this time. Omigawa scoring well with a low kick there.

Horrible takedown by Granger or perhaps it was just good defense by Omigawa which made him look bad. Omigawa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Omigawa wants it to stay on the feet. Omigawa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Granger on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Granger shoots in but Omigawa avoids the takedown attempt easily. A lazy left from Omigawa finds it's target. Granger is trying desperately to land a takedown but Omigawa is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Granger.

Procheck stalling away here and it's allowed Pearson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Procheck trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pearson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Pearson won't allow Procheck to get back to his feet.

He's out cold! Pearson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
