Laugh throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Stinson stumbling backwards into the cage! Stinson bounces back off the cage towards Laugh, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Laugh lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Laugh celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance but Balls moves to the side
and Balls counters with a nice uppercut.
Johnson throws a combination that misses
and Balls cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Balls connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Paul Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Balls counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Balls shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
