1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Puff Anderson! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson thumps Kamphius with a low kick. Anderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kamphius doesn't succeed with the takedown and Anderson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Anderson jabs at Kamphius's body. A slapping body kick lands there for Anderson. Anderson scores with a push kick. Kamphius dives in and grabs Anderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes down on Kamphius's head and hops out. Anderson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Anderson. Kamphius dives in and grabs Anderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes down on Kamphius's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Kamphius. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kamphius has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kamphius has his takedown stuffed and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kamphius is breathing heavily. Anderson jabs Kamphius to the body, keeping him at a distance. A kick lands to the mid section there for Anderson. Anderson scores with a leg kick.
Anderson delivers a nice body kick. Anderson catches Kamphius with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Good standup being displayed there by Anderson as he connects with a hook. Anderson throws a combination. Kamphius tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kamphius looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Fabricio Kamphius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson connects with a leg kick. Kamphius looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kamphius with a lazy takedown attempt and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Anderson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Anderson sizes up Kamphius with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Anderson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kamphius if he has to take too many more of those.
Kamphius takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kamphius. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Anderson throws a series of strikes that have Kamphius backpedaling.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Anderson wants to get back to his feet. Anderson is looking to control Kamphius's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Puff Anderson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Anderson throws a sloppy head kick so Kamphius counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kamphius slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. A lull in the action here. Kamphius throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Kamphius working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kamphius decides to take the fight back to the feet. Kamphius will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet. Anderson is breathing heavily. Kamphius darts in trying to clinch and Anderson counters with a straight right hand.

Anderson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kamphius in his tracks. Anderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Anderson. Kamphius throws a leg kick letting Anderson counter with a right hand. Anderson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Anderson circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kamphius tries for a takedown but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kamphius is defended easily by Anderson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Kamphius. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick by Kamphius misses and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kamphius looks to throw a body kick letting Anderson counter with a right hand. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Anderson holds on and takes a little breather. Kamphius stands up from guard. Let's bang! Anderson throws a nice outside leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kamphius crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anderson - the referee stops the clock and Kamphius gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anderson. Kamphius manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Anderson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kamphius closes the distance looking to clinch and Anderson counters with a nice body shot. Kamphius throws a lazy body kick and Anderson counters with a three punch combo that has Kamphius backing up. Kamphius nods at Anderson to acknowledge the strikes. Kamphius fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away. Kamphius tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Anderson works over Kamphius's head and body with a nice combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Puff Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Thay decides to stand up, so the ref orders Veto to his feet. Thay has closed the distance and engaged Veto in a clinch.
Thay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Thay closes the distance and clinches. Veto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back.
