The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Normalny lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Grim at a distance.

Normalny gets caught flat footed, as Grim shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Grim throws a big right hand that misses. Normalny keeping moving, preventing Grim from controlling successfully. Normalny looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Grim puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Grim working the head and body with strikes. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Conar's head. Bellic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Conar. Conar tries to clinch there but Bellic circles away.
Conar pushes Bellic away with a front kick. Sloppy strikes from Bellic. Those never looked like landing. Bellic lands with an overhand left. Nice jab there from Conar. Bellic throws a series of punches but Conar moves out of range. Conar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Conar scores with a kick to the midsection. Conar moves to clinch but Bellic breaks away and Bellic counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Conar moves into the clinch successfully.
Bellic is fighting off a takedown attempt but Conar is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bellic to the mat. Bellic regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Conar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Conar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bellic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Conar has Bellic in his guard. Bellic pushing down on Conar's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Conar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bellic on the ground.

Bellic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Conar to the mat! Conar manages to get full guard. Bellic sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bellic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Conar's guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Conar on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bellic content to control rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Winner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tran utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Winner trying to control the position from guard on top but Tran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tran wants to stand but Winner is controlling the position. Tran pushes Winner off and gets back to his feet.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pierr Lamonte was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amado Orfeo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pierr Lamonte! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamonte shoots in and bounces Orfeo off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Orfeo working a defensive guard but Lamonte passes into half guard.
Lamonte missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Orfeo is trying to get back to full guard. Lamonte seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Still in half guard, Lamonte seems content to control. Let's hope that Lamonte has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lamonte has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pierr Lamonte. Orfeo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lamonte. That did some damage! Lamonte closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Orfeo quickly recovers to half guard. Orfeo wants to get back to his feet. Orfeo wants to get back to full guard. Lamonte passes to full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lamonte cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamonte sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lamonte looking to finish Orfeo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Orfeo! Lamonte avoids the attempt from Orfeo to control. Orfeo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lamonte on the ground. Lamonte takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Orfeo is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lamonte is standing up, even though he is in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pierr Lamonte dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Orfeo throws a lazy head kick and Lamonte counters with a single leg into guard. Orfeo didn't expect that. Lamonte gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lamonte misses with a wild combination.
Orfeo throws a head kick that misses and Lamonte counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lamonte content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Lamonte is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Orfeo! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lamonte controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamonte with shots to the head and body - Orfeo looks very uncomfortable down there. Orfeo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lamonte is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Orfeo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lamonte looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orfeo has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Lamonte is working the ground and pound. Can Orfeo escape? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lamonte has managed to slip his arm under Orfeo's chin. This could be all over... yep, Orfeo is tapping out! Submission win for Lamonte.
