The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitte is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Canmelianenko.
Canmelianenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Whitte tries to avoid it but Canmelianenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Whitte to the ground. Whitte escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Whitte dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Canmelianenko misses with a shot to the body
and Whitte counters with a left to the body.
Canmelianenko is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Whitte cracks Canmelianenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Canmelianenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Whitte finish him?
