The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin stuffs the takedown attempt from Buckley. Buckley gets slowly back to his feet.
Austin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Buckley was well out of range. Poor timing from Austin.

Austin gets caught flat footed, as Buckley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Austin is trying to keep Buckley in close.
Buckley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Austin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buckley on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Buckley's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Buckley throws and elbow that misses. Austin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Buckley's guard. Nice move by Austin!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Austin closes the distance but Buckley moves to the side

and Buckley counters with a nice double leg into side control. Austin won't be happy with that.
A big shot lands for Buckley! That's hurt Austin! Will he recover? Buckley fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

enabling Kennedy to counter with a crisp jab.

Andres gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kennedy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kennedy is pushing down on Andres's leg trying to pass to half guard. Andres is fighting to maintain full guard but Kennedy has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kennedy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Andres is in trouble now - Kennedy has advanced to mount!
Andres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kennedy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
