The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donato with a poor takedown
and Cramor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Donato gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cramor prevents Donato from breaking the clinch.

Donato jumps guard and drags Cramor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cramor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Donato's guard.
Cramor passes into side control, despite Donato's attempt to control the position.
Cramor has control of an arm but Donato manages to advance to Cramor's back!
Donato knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cramor on the ground.

The referee is taking a good look at Cramor as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Donato!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cramor is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Donato is squirming around, avoiding Cramor's attempts to control the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fleckson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Balboa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fleckson is in Balboa's guard.
Balboa wants to stand but Fleckson is controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fleckson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fleckson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Balboa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fleckson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fleckson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Balboa's guard.

Fleckson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Balboa is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Silva is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rofen with him. Rofen is trying to defend but Silva has an arm under the chin now! Rofen grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ali darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lawson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lawson throws a jab when Ali was well out of range.
Ali swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lawson counters with a nice uppercut.
No joy there for Ali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ali shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lawson sprawls well. Lawson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ali gets slowly back to his feet.

Ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lawson's waist but Lawson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali off to one side.

Az Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lawson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
