0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Terry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Korczynski! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korczynski lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Terry fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Korczynski sprawls well initially but Terry persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Korczynski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Terry working the head and body with strikes. Terry working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Korczynski's thigh. Korczynski counters though and makes it back to full guard. Korczynski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Terry is controlling him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Terry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Terry postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Terry has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. No, Korczynski has managed to get both his arms back between Terry's legs - danger averted. Terry wants to hit a switch here but Korczynski passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Terry there! Terry is desperately trying to improve his position but Korczynski has a good base and remains in mount. Terry defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Korczynski. Korczynski is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Lukasz Korczynski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Billy Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janis Spalva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janis Spalva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spalva misses with a hook. Lambert ducked under it nicely. Spalva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lambert moves away. Lambert throws a series of punches but Spalva avoids them all with ease. Lambert closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Spalva to the mat! Spalva manages to get full guard. Lambert stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spalva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lambert stands up from Spalva's guard - Lambert perhaps looking for a knockout. Nice defenses there by Lambert. Spalva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lambert to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lambert drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lambert jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lambert throwing strikes from guard but Spalva blocks nicely. Lambert decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Spalva, up you get!

He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lambert seems to have locked his on tight now - Spalva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lambert, as he picks up the win!

Scuttlebutt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Beano sees it coming and defends easily. Beano wants to get back to full guard but Scuttlebutt has mounted him! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benn shoots for a takedown but St Clair saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Benn ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. St Clair shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Benn napping and manages to drive through into side control! Benn manages to get back to half guard. St Clair has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Benn works to full guard. Benn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. St Clair doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. St Clair manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Benn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. St Clair defends it easily. Benn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Peks throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. McIlroy is bucking up trying to escape but Peks cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Peks looking to ground and pound but McIlroy is blocking nicely. Peks punishing his opponent with strikes. McIlroy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Peks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McIlroy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. He's now in McIlroy's guard. Nice move by Peks!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. McIlroy stands up from guard. Let's bang! McIlroy tries for a takedown but Peks circles away easily and Peks counters with a nice double leg into half guard. McIlroy is breathing heavily. Peks trying to advance position but McIlroy counters by regaining guard. Peks trying to control but McIlroy is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peks passes McIlroy's left leg - he's now in half guard. Peks trying to mount his opponent but McIlroy defends it. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
