The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soljic throws a sloppy head kick and Andres moves out of range easily. Andres shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Soljic napping and manages to drive through into side control! Andres scoring with punches and elbows. Soljic is looking for a sweep. Andres cracks Soljic with an elbow. That is naaassty. Andres has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Andres lands some shots froms side control. Andres prevents Soljic from escaping the position. Soljic taking a bit of punishment here - Andres scoring with strikes. Andres is working Soljic over with some ground and pound from side control. Andres cracks Soljic with a big elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Andres has an Americana. Soljic didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Andres is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Andres hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dozer tries for a takedown but Bureac circles away easily and Bureac counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dozer misses with a takedown attempt and Bureac counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bureac shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bureac was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bureac tries to control but Dozer wriggling away. Bureac content just to control the position here. Dozer wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bureac thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You get the feeling that Dozer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
