Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fred Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kitsune Tsuki! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Tsuki clinches with his opponent.
Stone is trying to break the clinch but Tsuki has him pressed against the cage. Stone tries for a takedown. No joy.
Stone tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tsuki's elbow. Tsuki keeps control of Stone as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tsuki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tsuki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stone uses from the top position. Stone with a flurry of punches that miss. Stone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tsuki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tsuki has escaped and now he's on top! Stone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tsuki has managed to free his arm - good work. Stone trying to control from half guard but Tsuki is working away. Tsuki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stone pulls his head out easily. Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tsuki trying to control but Stone postures up.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Tsuki wants to get back to his feet but Stone is dominant here and he's now got Tsuki's back! Tsuki breaks Stone's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Tsuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tsuki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stone pushes Tsuki off and scrambles back to his feet.
Stone has his takedown stuffed and Tsuki counters by clinching up. Stone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tsuki avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Stone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tsuki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stone. Stone closes the distance and clinches up with Tsuki, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes Tsuki against the cage but Tsuki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tsuki's half guard. Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tsuki defending well though. Stone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tsuki with a short hammerfist. Stone is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tsuki! Stone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tsuki is looking to escape. Stone unloading with bombs! BOOM! Stone connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tsuki is trying desperately to improve position. Stone jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tsuki manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tsuki tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Stone cracks Tsuki with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Stone dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stone throws a combination. Tsuki tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Stone is working Tsuki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Stone distracts Tsuki with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tsuki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stone with a nice head shot there. Stone lands a couple of digs. Tsuki wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment. Stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

And that's the end of the fight! Fred Stone showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duck fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Morozzz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Morozzz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Duck tries to land a front kick but Morozzz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Donald Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morozzz shoots in for a double leg but Duck sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Morozzz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morozzz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duck circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ded Morozzz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duck rushes Morozzz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Duck gets underhooks to prevent Morozzz's takedown attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paskaks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vartanov moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Paskaks's corner calls for a 1-2. Paskaks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Vartanov swings widly with a right hand
and Vartanov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Paskaks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vartanov won't be happy with that. Paskaks in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paskaks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vartanov keeps working. Paskaks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Paskaks creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Paskaks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paskaks tries to score with some ground and pound. That was a close second round but I would say that Sammy Sullivan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mikhail Rompevsky's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. and Rompevsky counters with a good, hard body kick but Sullivan shrugs it off. Sullivan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rompevsky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sullivan is working away from the top position though. Rompevsky is pressing down on Sullivan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rompevsky wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rompevsky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sullivan has managed to get both his arms back between Rompevsky's legs - danger averted. Rompevsky tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rompevsky working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sullivan. Sullivan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rompevsky swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rompevsky manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Sullivan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sullivan tries to get out of the position. You can see the frustration on Sullivan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rompevsky is looking to take a break and control but Sullivan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sullivan dodges the ground and pound from Rompevsky. Rompevsky looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rompevsky tries to move into full mount but can't pass Sullivan's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rompevsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sullivan has escaped the position, nice work there. Sullivan is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rompevsky is controlling him well. Sullivan prevents Rompevsky from moving into mount. Rompevsky goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sullivan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rompevsky but great work by Sullivan. Rompevsky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sullivan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rompevsky looking for a sweep but Sullivan has passed into full mount! Oh no! Rompevsky is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rompevsky throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Sullivan looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Rompevsky takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Rompevsky is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rompevsky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rompevsky tries to lock up and control but Sullivan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sullivan controlling the pace for now. Sullivan avoids the attempt from Rompevsky to control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sammy Sullivan. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sullivan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasilenko throws a sloppy head kick and Durandin moves out of range easily. Vasilenko misses with a double jab

Durandin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vasilenko. Durandin pushes a forearm under Vasilenko's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Vasilenko is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
