The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pennant works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Seamus John James Given has been cut. Pennant lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pennant. Given scores with a leg kick.
Pennant misses with a double jab
and Given counters with an inside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Pennant tries to bum rush Given with a series of wild strikes but Given uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pennant throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Given. Pennant misses with a wild body shot. Pennant thows a left - swing and a miss! Pennant throws a combination that misses and Given counters with a thumping low kick. Pennant looks gassed! Pennant has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Given. Crunch! Given slams his shin into Pennant's torso. Given dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pennant. That did some damage! Pennant walks into a left hand. Given looks to score with a jab to the body but Pennant is just out of range. Given thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pennant if he has to take too many more of those.
Given cracks Pennant with a big right hand and Pennant goes down!

That's one minute gone in the round. Given drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Given as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Pennant screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Given! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grove tries to clinch but Adams moves away and Adams counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ben Grove has been cut. Adams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grove.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grove lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Adams has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Adams and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Grove moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Grove misses with a hook
and Adams counters with a crisp one two that drops Grove! Adams thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Grove to his feet! Grove is in big trouble!
Grove is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Look low, kick high! Adams uses the oldest trick in the book to send Grove tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Adams is absolutely delighted - when Grove wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeremy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Nice body punch from Jeremy. Hooshmand misses with a takedown and Jeremy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hooshmand tries to move into range but Jeremy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hooshmand gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jeremy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jeremy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jeremy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hooshmand on the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch lands to the side of Hooshmand 's head but he takes it in his stride. Hooshmand misses with a takedown attempt and Jeremy counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ron Jeremy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jahangir Hooshmand. Hooshmand looks gassed! Jeremy looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

It looks like Jahangir Hooshmand has been cut. Ron Jeremy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jeremy throws a series of strikes that have Hooshmand backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jeremy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hooshmand. That did some damage! Jeremy cracks Hooshmand with an open hand slap. Jeremy's corner calls for a 1-2. Jeremy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jeremy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jeremy clobbers Hooshmand with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hooshmand is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jeremy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hooshmand. Jeremy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jeremy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hooshmand. Jeremy is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Jeremy! This one is all over!

and Hendry counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Zabuza avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Zabuza throws out a powerful jab. Zabuza throws the left hand but Hendry avoids the punch easily. Hendry misses with a body punch
and Zabuza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hendry slips under a jab. Zabuza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hendry wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Zabuza postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Zabuza is trying to ground and pound but Hendry uses the momentary lack of control by Zabuza to regain half guard. Zabuza throws a strike but Hendry avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Zabuza has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Zabuza is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hendry will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Zabuza tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Ricky Zabuza is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Zabuza landing a few strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hunt works his way into side control. Hunt is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Hunt tries to advance to mount but Lynch denies him. Lynch on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Lynch throws a series of punches but Hunt moves out of range. Lynch moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut. Lynch throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lynch lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Hunt throws a leg kick and Lynch counters with a three punch combo that has Hunt backing up. Hunt nods at Lynch to acknowledge the strikes. Hunt looks to score with a jab to the body but Lynch is just out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Lynch checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hunt moves out of range of the body kick. Hunt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lynch did well to prevent Hunt getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunt is taking a breather. Lynch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hunt has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunt working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Hunt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hunt landing strikes, looking to finish! Hunt landing shots from mount. Lynch is trying to stand. Hunt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Lynch takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Hunt's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poulter lands a front kick. Paul Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poulter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beckenbauer. Beckenbauer misses with a takedown attempt and Poulter counters with an outside leg kick.
Beckenbauer tries for a takedown but Poulter circles away easily and Poulter counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Poulter looks at the referee who does nothing so Poulter lands a crushing right that sends Beckenbauer to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hopkins lands with an uppercut that bounces Jenkins off the cage and back into rage. No joy there for Hopkins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Hopkins might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Hopkins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jenkins. Jenkins lands a nice hook to Hopkins's body. Hopkins takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Terry Jenkins seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jenkins lands a left and a right that send Hopkins crashing to the mat, dazed. Jenkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hopkins is rocked! Jenkins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hopkins sprawling to the canvas! Hopkins rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jenkins finish him?!
Oh Hopkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! BOOM! Jenkins lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hopkins. Hopkins tries to recover but Jenkins is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hopkins lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
