The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pan tries to clinch but Tamada is having none of it.

Tamada turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tamada manages to end up in side control.

Hawkes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Davis sprawling to the canvas! Davis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hawkes finish him?!

Davis is rocked!

It looks like Jonathan Davis has been cut.
Hawkes throws a monster overhand right that drops Davis! Hawkes follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Pingshaw doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jitsu counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gracie Jitsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jitsu. That's going to slow Pingshaw down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jitsu, right into the meat.
Pingshaw chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jitsu can pounce on him.

Pingshaw blocks a low kick nicely.
Jitsu swings for the body but Pingshaw moves out of range.
Jitsu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pingshaw has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jitsu misses with a low kick.
Jitsu missing with a left hand there. Pingshaw was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pingshaw is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jitsu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pingshaw paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pingshaw shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pingshaw was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Pingshaw is working for a guillotine from mount but Jitsu frees his head quite easily.

Pingshaw wants to finish this one by submission but Jitsu is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pingshaw.

Pingshaw swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
