The bell rings for round one and we are underway! troop throws a head kick but Gregory moves out of range.

troop jumps into guard, dragging Gregory to the mat.
Gregory trying to control the position from guard on top but troop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. troop is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. troop stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Gregory with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gregory jabbing away but nothing is landing. troop will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Swift is defended easily by Wall. Wall shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Swift counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wall wants to stand but Swift is controlling the position. Swift landing with the ground and pound. Swift lands a couple of digs. Swift landing some decent shots from guard. Wall controlling the position. Swift is looking to advance position but Wall has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Wall is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! Wall anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Swift and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wall slips an arm under Swift chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wall has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wall is squeezing on Swift like an anaconda would it's prey. Swift fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Carwin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Carwin shows good takedown defense. Chris Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carwin moves into range and connects with a jab. Carwin sizes up Anderson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Carwin rushes Anderson and presses him up against the cage. Carwin lands a nice uppercut. Carwin breaks from the clinch.
A lazy left from Carwin finds it's target. Anderson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Carwin misses with the combination.
Carwin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Anderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carwin avoids it really well and circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carwin rushes Anderson and presses him up against the cage. Carwin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carwin closes the distance and clinches. Carwin breaks the clinch.
Carwin stalks Anderson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Anderson's face. Anderson staggers backwards, shaken. Carwin cracks Anderson with a right hand to the side of the head. Carwin lands a jab to the head.
Anderson is rocked! Anderson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is holding his hands too far apart here. Carwin throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Anderson is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chavez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Smith to score with a decent uppercut. Chavez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Dilbert Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chavez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith. Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Smith moves away from the strike by Chavez. Chavez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dilbert Chavez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chavez misses with a double jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puder throws a head kick that misses. Brock avoids a kick to the body.
