The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wony tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nelson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nelson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wony doesn't seem bothered though. Nelson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson lands with an overhand left. Wony drops his hands momentarily and Nelson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wony doesn't succeed with the takedown and Nelson counters with a left to the body. Wony gets off balance looking for a body kick and Nelson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Good exchange - Nelson coming out on top.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bandana did well to prevent Jim getting side control. Jim wants to pass to mount but Bandana is defending the position. Bandana is trying to control but can't.
Bandana is doing well to control the position and prevent Jim from advancing to side control. Jim seems to be working for a kimura but Bandana defends the submission attempt. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bandana moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jim has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bandana bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jim's guard. Bandana trying to control the position from guard on top but Jim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bandana postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bandana, into his guard. Jim being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jim is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bandana is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bandana has escaped and now he's on top! Bandana wants to control from the top but Jim keeps moving. Bandana is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bandana looking to sit in guard and control but Jim gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bandana manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jim manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bandana looking to sit in guard and control but Jim gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bandana seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Bandana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bandana is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jim drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bandana dives on top into guard. Jim is breathing heavily. Bandana drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bandana seems to have locked his on tight now - Jim screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bandana, as he picks up the win!

And that's the end of the fight! Zakk Hari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anus. Anus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Anus shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brown eats them both and turns towards Anus to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Brown moves to clinch but Anus breaks away and Anus counters with a right hand to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brown looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Brown on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Anus is putting a hurting on Brown here, landing some big shots from side control. Anus lands a nice forearm strike. Anus works to advance to full mount. Brown defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Anus lands with some strikes. Anus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Anus dominating with strikes here. Anus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brown's face.
Brown is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Anus unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Brown wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Anus celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Jacobs gets control of Sunny's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jacobs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sunny stopping the sweep attempt from Jacobs. Jacobs looking for a guillotine here but Sunny defends easily.

This has been an exciting period of action! Jacobs looking for a guillotine from mount but Sunny is having none of it.

Jacobs jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sunny manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jacobs lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sunny down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jacobs is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Jacobs gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jacobs gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jacobs apologises and we restart here on the feet.
