The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson throws a right hand that Marston ducks under and follows up with a left that Marston also avoids with ease.
Patterson tries to move into range but Marston moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Marston shoots in for a double leg but Patterson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marston tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Patterson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Marston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Patterson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marston uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Patterson.
Marston shoots in looking for a takedown but Patterson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marston's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paul Macho was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
