0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Here Again! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer avoids the head kick by Again.
Again with a lazy takedown attempt and Again is countered with a crisp right hand from Killer that sends him to the canvas! Killer follows him to the mat into side control.
It looks like Here Again has been cut. Killer working away. Killer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killer stands up and we're back to a striking position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some wild striking there from Killer.
Killer fails to land with a series of punches.
Killer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Again tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Killer smiles and moves away.
Killer lands a big right hook! Again looks hurt but is still standing! Killer lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Again falls down and Killer dives in with a huge hammer fist! Again's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Killer runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jackson preventing the sweep. Jackson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Navarro is working an open guard so Jackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jackson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Navarro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jackson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Navarro wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Navarro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Navarro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Navarro wants to stand but Jackson is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Navarro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Navarro's guard now. Navarro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Navarro wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him. Navarro keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. Navarro is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea. Navarro is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson pushing down on Navarro's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Navarro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson stands up from half guard. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Navarro misses with a combination
and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Navarro fights it but they end up in guard. Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Navarro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Jackson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jackson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Navarro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jackson's calf. Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson showed some decent athleticism there. Jackson wants to control but Navarro is keeping him busy. Jackson throwing shots but Navarro is blocking nicely. Jackson moves into full mount! Navarro won't be happy about that! Jackson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Navarro because Jackson loaded up on that one. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Navarro is desperately trying to improve his position but Jackson has a good base and remains in mount. Jackson controlling from mount. Navarro defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jackson. Jackson working Navarro over with strikes here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson breaks from Navarro's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jackson goes for an armbar but Navarro turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Navarro. Jackson kicks Navarro off and gets to his feet. Navarro with a lazy takedown attempt and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Navarro fights it but they end up in guard. Navarro wants to get back to his feet but Jackson passes into half guard.
Jackson passes the guard and advances to mount! Jackson content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Navarro really doesn't like being in this position too much.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson raining down shots from the mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Navarro throws a chopping leg kick but Jackson manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jackson gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. It looks like Ramo Garcilazo has been cut. Garcilazo loses concentration momentarily and Belfort pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Garcilazo crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Belfort finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Jakquz enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jakquz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Silva advances position into side control! Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jakquz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jakquz is trying to escape and Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jakquz is forced to tap! Nice work there by Silva! Very nice indeed!
