The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hope scores with a hook. Summers gets caught flat footed, as Hope shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hope thows a big elbow that misses. Hope has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hopeis looking to pass into half guard but Summers pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Summers is in guard. Summers forces his way into half guard. Summers trying to control from half guard but Hope is working away. Hope keeping control of the position. Summers works his way into full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Summers punching from mount but Hope doing a good job of avoiding damage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dir misses with a low kick. Kochanowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Dir swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dir misses with a low kick as Kochanowski jumps back. Dir looks to land a body kick but Kochanowski moved away. Dir moves into range and clinches up with Kochanowski. Dir tries to work over Kochanowski's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Dir controlling the action here for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dir lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Dir prevents Kochanowski from improving his position. The fighters are battling for position here. Kochanowski manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dir has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kochanowski to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dir is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kochanowski pulls down on the head and he's put Dir to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamek throws a head kick that misses enabling Bobbertson to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut. Bobbertson throws a head kick that misses and Adamek counters with a slapping leg kick. Bobbertson darts in trying to clinch and Adamek moves into the clinch. Adamek tries for a takedown. No joy.
Adamek has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bobbertson is trying to keep an underhook but Adamek manages to get the takedown into half guard. Bobbertson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Adamek sprawling to the canvas! Adamek rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bobbertson finish him?!

Adamek is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bobbertson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Adamek. Bobbertson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bobbertson.

Bobbertson is trying to stand up here but Adamek is controlling him well. Adamek is looking for a kimura but Bobbertson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Adamek to get the leverage. Bobbertson is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Adamek is tapping! Great win for Bobbertson!

Te Mako keeping moving, preventing Matador from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Matador stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Te Mako swivels though and keeps the full guard. Matador got a little sloppy there for a moment and Te Mako has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Matador has managed to get both his arms back between Te Mako's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Te Mako keeping moving, preventing Matador from controlling successfully. Matador throwing strikes but missing. Matador trying to control the position from guard on top but Te Mako is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Te Mako is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Matador defends well. Matador throws a strike but Te Mako rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Te Mako working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Te Mako drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Matador manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Te Mako has Matador in his guard. Te Mako manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Te Mako moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Matador has worked his arm free - good work by Matador!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimbo Te Mako dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Matador can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Te Mako looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Matador is defending well. Te Mako quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Matador has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Te Mako celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
