The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Browne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lundgren moves into the clinch. Lundgren prevents Browne from breaking the clinch. Browne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Robert Browne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lundgren misses with a straight right. Browne connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Lundgren tries to score a power double leg takedown but Browne sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lundgren somewhat. Browne pulls out of a head kick attempt.

No, Igali has managed to free his arm - good work. Duditz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Igali actively working from the bottom here. Duditz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Igali keeps working. Duditz wants to pass the guard but Igali is defending well. Duditz missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Igali tries to roll over but Duditz keeps him under control.

Igali manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Duditz trying to strike off his back.
Igali lands a couple of elbows. Igali is sitting in close to Duditz's body. Duditz has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Igali is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Igali is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Duditz.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! the fist's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and the fist duly obliges. the fist misses with a series of wild punches.
A nice combination there by the fist.
the fist gets the takedown into side control. the fist trying to control the action but Muller is working from the bottom. the fist decides to stand up, so the ref orders Muller to his feet. the fist throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Muller was covering up waiting for the punch and the fist finishes the takedown easily into guard. Muller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. the fist throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Muller works some decent striking defense from the bottom. the fist content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. the fist prevents Muller from getting back to his feet. the fist trying to control the position from guard on top but Muller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. the fist missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Muller is looking to stand up but the fist isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. the fist looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jimmy the fist has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Muller clobbers the fist with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Jimmy the fist has been cut. the fist just misses with a punch to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Muller! the fist is out on his feet! Muller rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - the fist is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! the fist is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brae's waist but Brae gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ortiz off to one side. Ortiz misses with a takedown and Brae counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ortiz fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Ortiz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brae lands a right hook to the body.
Ortiz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Brae lands with a nice body punch. Ortiz with a lazy takedown attempt and Brae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Brae scores with a punch to the head. Brae connects with a body shot. Ortiz is breathing heavily. Brae wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ortiz fails with the takedown. Brae keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ortiz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ortiz. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Brae fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ortiz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Brae lands an overhand right. A right-left combo lands from Brae. Brae lands a right hook to the body.

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Brae lands a body punch. Ortiz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Brae escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brae has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Brae paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Brae goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ortiz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Banoch Brae is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice body punch from Brae. Nice straight punches there by Brae. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brae. Brae lands a slapping body shot.
Brae ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Brae is working the combinations to good effect here. Brae shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ortiz eats them both and turns towards Brae to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Brae dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brae scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A left lands for Brae. Brae scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Brae pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Brae stalks Ortiz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ortiz's face. Ortiz staggers backwards, shaken. Left hook, right uppercut from Brae. Brae connects with a right hand. Ortiz shakes it off. Brae stuns Ortiz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ortiz throws a wild hook but Brae just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Ortiz gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the ropes! The referee jumps in - Brae raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

and Gustafsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gustafsson has his takedown stuffed and Hunt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gustafsson shoots and misses and Hunt counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hunt trying to control but Gustafsson is working from the bottom. Hunt passes Gustafsson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hunt stops Gustafsson from getting back to his feet.
Hunt is pressing down on Gustafsson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gustafsson is holding on for now. Hunt content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gustafsson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gustafsson is looking to stand up but Hunt isn't so interested in that idea. Gustafsson keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hunt lands a couple of elbows. Hunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gustafsson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunt has managed to get both his arms back between Gustafsson's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gustafsson keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully. Gustafsson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hunt manages to get himself to full guard.
Gustafsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunt is retaining full guard. Hunt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gustafsson's guard. Hunt wants to control from the top but Gustafsson keeps moving. Gustafsson wants to get back to his feet but Hunt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gustafsson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hunt dives into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myers cracks Diaz with a right hand to the side of the head. Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Myers. Myers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Myers tries to clinch up but Diaz circles away and keeps his distance. Diaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Myers sees it coming and avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Myers. Diaz does a little dance to reset his feet. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Diaz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Myers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Myers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
