The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hanzo Judo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Jones.
It looks like Hanzo Judo has been cut. Judo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jones blocks a head kick by Judo.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borre takes the fight into the clinch. Borre drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McStar gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rutten. Rutten throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mann's head. Mann scores with a leg kick.
Rutten tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mann swivels and escapes. Mann gets off balance looking for a body kick and Rutten counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rutten. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rutten controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rutten seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mann for as long as he can get away with. We're going to have a standup here because Bas Rutten wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rutten dives in and grabs Mann's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mann pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mann tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mann looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mann darts in and clinches Rutten up against the cage. Mann prevents a takedown attempt there.

Rutten shoots in and gets a takedown into Mann's guard. Rutten slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rutten has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bas Rutten. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mann will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rutten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mann lands a slapping body shot.

Mann is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Rutten is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Mann throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Mann scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mann fails in his attempt to clinch. Rutten looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mann is fending him off so far but Rutten persists. Nope, Mann circles away and we're back to standing. Rutten sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Rutten doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mann tries to clinch but Rutten is having none of it. Rutten closes the distance and clinches up with Mann, looking for a takedown. Rutten pushes Mann against the cage but Mann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bas Rutten. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mann scores with a leg kick.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mannie Mann. I've got Mann winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cummins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Guy was covering up waiting for the punch and Cummins finishes the takedown easily into guard. Guy wants to stand but Cummins is controlling the position. Cummins decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Guy, up you get! Cummins misses with a takedown attempt and Guy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Guy misses with a leg kick. Guy shoots and misses and Cummins counters by clinching up. Cummins using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! Kari Tapio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tapio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Tosh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tosh with a couple of short strikes. Tosh controlling from mount. Tosh throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Other Guy because Tosh loaded up on that one. Other Guy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Tosh tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Tosh moves into range and clinches up with Other Guy. Other Guy is looking to break free of the clinch but Tosh has double underhooks. Tosh jumps into guard, dragging Other Guy to the mat.
