Taisto Kurmotus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurmotus takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Kurmotus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

van Bommel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kurmotus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, van Bommel has managed to get both his arms back between Kurmotus's legs - danger averted.

van Bommel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kurmotus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kurmotus isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. van Bommel stacks Kurmotus on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by van Bommel!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

van Bommel misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Stalin has cracked Drago with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Stalin lands another huge swinging hook and Drago tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Drago, before Stalin can land any more shots!
