8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kujo Yoritsune! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoritsune swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yoritsune looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kujo Yoritsune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laitela throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoritsune's waist but Yoritsune gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Laitela off to one side. Yoritsune takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Yoritsune throws a body punch but Laitela moves out of range. Laitela cracks Yoritsune with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Laitela really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yoritsune rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laitela moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Yoritsune swings and misses with a shot to the body so Laitela counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Laitela sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yoritsune's guard. Laitela content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laitela is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Yoritsune! Laitela wants to take his opponent's back but Yoritsune doesn't allow it. Laitela controlling the pace for now. Laitela looking to ground and pound but Yoritsune is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Laitela controlling the position easily from mount. Laitela wants to take Yoritsune's back but he can't do it this time. Laitela wants to control the pace but Yoritsune is squirming around nicely. Yoritsune prevents Laitela from taking his back. Laitela can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yoritsune is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laitela moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Yoritsune has worked his arm free - good work by Yoritsune!
You can see the frustration on Yoritsune's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Yoritsune is letting Laitela control him for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Laitela tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Laitela looking to control but instead Yoritsune has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Laitela not doing much here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glock fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Touhu on the side of the head. Touhu doesn't succeed with the takedown and Glock counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Touhu with a lazy takedown attempt and Glock counters with a nice leg kick. Touhu misses with a takedown and Glock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Romeo Glock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Touhu. Touhu with a poor takedown and Glock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fighters circling - Glock throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Touhu shoots and misses and Glock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Touhu looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glock lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Glock lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Glock throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Touhu. Glock chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Touhu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Glock. Glock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Touhu. Glock scores with a head kick.
Touhu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Glock throws out the jab. Touhu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Glock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Touhu has time to react. Touhu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Touhu on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Glock lands with an uppercut that bounces Touhu off the cage and back into rage. Touhu ducks right into an uppercut from Glock. Glock lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Glock lands a right hook to the body.

Touhu shoots and misses and Glock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glock cracks Touhu with a hook to the temple - Touhu is on wobbly legs here! Glock swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Touhu falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Glock wins by TKO!

A low kick from Tolkki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jussila has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jussila and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tolkki looking to land some kicks to the body here.

And that's the end of the fight! Teppo Tolkki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tolkki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tapio scores with a head kick. Saunders tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Saunders blocks a head kick by Tapio.

and Saunders counters with a stiff right hand. Saunders takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Tapio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Saunders's head. Saunders takes a swing at Tapio's ribcage but misses. Saunders fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tapio looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Tapio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Saunders keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tapio. Tapio throws a head kick that half lands.

Saunders shoots in for a takedown but Tapio shows good takedown defense. Tapio cracks Saunders with an open hand slap. Saunders closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A head kick by Tapio misses and Saunders counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tapio throws a poor cross that misses
and Saunders counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tapio's knee momentarily. A nice inside leg kick there by Tapio. That's going to slow Saunders down. The crowd cheers as Tapio lands an impressive looking overhand right. Saunders doesn't seem phased though. Tapio fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Saunders checks it well. Tapio throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tapio lands with a slapping head kick. Saunders misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tapio.

Saunders misses with a looping left. Tapio wants to clinch and Saunders counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tapio has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Saunders doesn't defend quickly enough and Tapio has managed to lock this one up! Can Saunders escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tapio on a fantastic submission victory.

Mustajarvi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mustajarvi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Madsen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mustajarvi. Mustajarvi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Madsen throws a right hand that misses
and Mustajarvi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Madsen! Madsen tries to reverse the position but Mustajarvi maintains control. Mustajarvi working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mustajarvi lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mustajarvi in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
