The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Copley closes the distance and clinches. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kissinger Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Copley pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kissinger Jr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Copley thows a big elbow that misses. Copley is working Kissinger Jr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Copley slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Copley tries to score with some ground and pound. Kissinger Jr controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Copley working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Copley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kissinger Jr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Copley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kissinger Jr to his feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kissinger Jr enables Copley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kissinger Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kissinger Jr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Copley stands up over Kissinger Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Copley passes Kissinger Jr's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kissinger Jr is breathing heavily. Copley works his foot free and advances to mount. Copley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Copley working for a submission but Kissinger Jr is keeping him at bay. Copley lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Copley controlling from the full mount. A big strike lands for Copley! That's really hurt Kissinger Jr and he's turned his back - Copley keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Copley jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oak avoids the head kick by Hawthorne.
Hawthorne tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Oak lands a stunning uppercut that sends Hawthorne to the mat!
It looks like Lance Hawthorne has been cut. Oak gets to his feet - back to striking we go! This has been an exciting period of action! Oak clinches with his opponent.
Hawthorne jumps guard but Oak stands there with Hawthorne around his waist. Hawthorne gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Oak lands with a light punch inside. Hawthorne tries to pull guard but Oak won't allow it.
Oak throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Hawthorne is breathing heavily. Oak breaks the clinch.
Oak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hawthorne sprawls well initially but Oak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hawthorne is rocked! Oak lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hawthorne quite badly. Hawthorne pulls Oak in close trying to recover. Oak postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hawthorne on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hawthorne doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Galliano changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schultz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Schultz trying to remain calm as Galliano controls from the top position. Galliano decides to stand back up. Galliano darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Galliano is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Galliano moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Galliano stands up and beckons Schultz to his feet. Galliano throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Schultz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Galliano is in Schultz's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Galliano slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Check out the look on Galliano's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

A lull in the action here as Galliano stalls from top position. Let's hope that Galliano has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Schultz wants to get back to his feet.

Schultz can't keep his opponent in guard - Galliano advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Schultz lands a right hand from hell, dropping Galliano. Schultz pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

McDermott pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bateman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bateman showed some decent athleticism there. McDermott wants to get back to full guard.

McDermott moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. McDermott is looking for a triangle but Bateman pushes his legs off easily.

I think Bateman should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McDermott has tightened it up now! Bateman should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Neos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lawblaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Neos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's going to take a lot out of Bob Lawblaw. Lawblaw misses with a head kick.

Lawblaw comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Lawblaw. Neos does a little dance to reset his feet. Lawblaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bob Lawblaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lawblaw crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Neos - the referee stops the clock and Lawblaw gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Neos. Lawblaw manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Lawblaw ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Lawblaw fails to land with a series of punches.

Neos keeping moving, preventing Lawblaw from controlling successfully. Lawblaw drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lawblaw jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Neos keeping moving, preventing Lawblaw from controlling successfully. Lawblaw pushes down on Neos's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lawblaw is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Neos is staying active underneath Lawblaw, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Neos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lawblaw on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lawblaw is trying for a kimura here. Neos looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lawblaw wins by kimura!
