Larson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sweet Child of Mine. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Larson! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larson throws a leg kick and Wizard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Larson misses with a double jab
and Wizard counters with a nice uppercut. Larson connects with a jab. Larson throws a shot from downtown. Wizard moves away and avoids it. Larson blocks a jab. A punch combination from Larson misses. Wizard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Larson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Larson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Wizard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wizard misses with a looping right. Larson slips under a jab from Wizard. Wizard is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Wizard shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wizard not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wizard missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Wizard working over Larson with some ground and pound. Larson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Larson pushes Wizard off looking to stand but Wizard dives back in and keeps control.

Dan Larson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Larson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Blood Wizard is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Wizard lands with a kick to the temple. Larson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Wizard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Larson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Larson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wizard stuns Larson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Larson loads up on a big right hand but Wizard slips the punch. Wizard feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Larsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Larson throws a combination that misses and Wizard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Larson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Wizard bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Larson's head. Larson has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Wizard waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Larson. Wizard throws a low kick but Larson avoids it. Wizard misses with an uppercut. Larson ducks under a wild hook from Wizard. Larson misses with a leg kick and Wizard counters with a one-two to the body. Larson misses the body punch and Wizard counters with a nice low kick that buckles Larson's knee momentarily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wizard tests Larson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wizard throws a hook but Larson avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Blood Wizard showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wizard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chain with a poor takedown and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chain shoots and misses and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut. Anderson circles away from the clinch attempt and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chain counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Chain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Traktor Chain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chain gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Anderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anderson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That was a close round but I would say that Traktor Chain will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Anderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Anderson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chain's guard. Chain swings around for an armbar but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chain's guard. Chain keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Onopko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brown, into his guard. Brown is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Crime thows a leg kick but Costa checks it and Costa counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Crime on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Crime slips under a jab from Costa. Costa throws an overhand right that lands on Crime's shoulder, as Crime tries to avoid the shot. Horrible takedown by Costa or perhaps it was just good defense by Crime which made him look bad. and Ramis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Niinivaara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramis manages to avoid it. Ramis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Niinivaara counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ramis thinking. Ramis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Niinivaara makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ramis, as that shot connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Niinivaara misses with a shot to the body and Ramis counters with a head kick that wobbles Niinivaara - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Ramis sends him down. This one is all over!

Head throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Jenkins counters with a body kick. Head throws a jab when Jenkins was well out of range. Jenkins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Leeroy Jenkins has been cut. Jenkins connects with a solid leg kick. Head throws a lazy head kick and Jenkins counters with a body kick. Head is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jenkins will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Head will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Head is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Jenkins looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Head throws a head kick that misses and Jenkins counters with a big head kick but Head shrugs it off. Head will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Head moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Head throws a head kick that misses and Jenkins finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Jenkins looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
