de Villiers gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Booms sends de Villiers crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Booms is motioning to the referee to let de Villiers up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Boruc stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boruc wants it to stay on the feet.
Boruc swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Guint.
Boruc throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guint stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Guint stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boruc swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zlatan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lagos to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vinny Knight!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Blaze ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knight moves away.
Nice body punch from Knight.
Knight moves out of range of the strikes.
Vinny Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knight dodges the punch combination from Blaze.
Blaze misses with a body shot.
Knight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blaze tries to avoid it but Knight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blaze to the ground. Blaze escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Knight goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Knight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blaze but Blaze pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Knight throws a right and a left that both miss.
A head kick by Knight misses
and Blaze makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Knight misses with a two punch combination.
Blaze tests Knight's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A cross from Blaze lands.
Horrible takedown by Knight or perhaps it was just good defense by Blaze which made him look bad.
Johnny Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vinny Knight.

Blaze throws a poor cross that misses
and Knight counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Blaze is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Blaze feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Knights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Knight is rocked!
Blaze is stalking Knight. Knight circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Blaze, and it's lights out! Knight really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
