The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Laos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wisniewski ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wisniewski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Laos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wisniewski lands a jab. Wisniewski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laos moves in looking to clinch but Wisniewski pushes him off. Laos fails with an attempt to clinch.

Laos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Laos on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wisniewski throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Laos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wisniewski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laos manages to avoid it. Laos slips a jab from Wisniewski. Laos fails with the takedown and Wisniewski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Wisniewski cracks Laos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wisniewski waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Laos. Laos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Danga de danga de dang - Escobar scores with a four punch combination! Escobar looks to throw a body kick and Oliveira counters with a leg kick. Escobar misses with a straight right. Oliveira pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Escobar is fending him off so far but Oliveira persists. Nope, Escobar circles away and we're back to standing. Oliveira tries a head kick but it misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schilt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alves backs up against the cage.
Schilt catches Alves with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Schilt misses with a double jab
and Alves counters with a straight right hand. Schilt throws a combination. Alves tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Schilt throws a series of punches but Alves moves out of range. Schilt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schilt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Alves regains half guard. Alves is not content to let Schilt control the position. Alves works his way to full guard. Good work. Alves is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Schilt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Alves is trying for a kimura here. Schilt looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Alves wins by kimura!

and Marduk counters with a nice uppercut. Anddone lands a nice hook to Marduk's body. Marduk takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marduk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. You get the feeling that Anddone really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ogasip tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Johnson counters with a straight right hand. Ogasip throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ogasip rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand. Ogasip bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Johnson sneaks back into half guard. Johnson manages to get to full guard.
Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ogasip stands up over Johnson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Johnson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ogasip! Ogasip wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Johnson.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Twinkle creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
