The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Butler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smith tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Butler is in Smith's guard.
Smith will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Smith wants to control the position but Butler says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

I think Macedon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carl Orff- O Fortuna. Michael Davis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Macedon goes for a small jab and connects. Now Macedon goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Davis stumbles back but Macedon runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Davis to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Davis will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Aureus uses his free foot to push down on Hardlock's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hardlock.

John Osbourne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
