The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Takahashi slams his shin into Clooten's torso.
Clooten dips to his left and cracks Takahashi with an uppercut!

Clooten throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Takahashi was covering up waiting for the punch and Clooten finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Clooten in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Clooten stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takahashi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Clooten trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Takahashi pulls Clooten in close to his closed guard and prevents Clooten from doing any damage or advancing position.

Clooten wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Takahashi, who protects the arm well.

Clooten prevents Takahashi from escaping the position.

Clooten tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Clooten has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Takahashi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Clooten does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Know with a hook.
Earp wants to clinch.
Know shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Earp as he avoids it easily.
Know staying out of range there.
Know fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Earp avoids it really well and circles away.
Earp shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Know doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Earp counters with a body kick that stops Know in his tracks momentarily.
Virgil Earp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of dont Know.
Know with a hook.
Know thows a body shot but no joy.
Know checks a leg kick nicely.
Know misses with a shot to the body

and Earp moves into the clinch.
