The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weiss misses with a double jab.

Weiss rushes Sabu and presses him up against the cage. Sabu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Weiss is trying to break the clinch but Sabu has him pressed against the cage. Sabu can't break the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Brucie Azz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Black throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Azz. Black throws a one two combo.
It looks like Brucie Azz has been cut. Azz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Black avoids the head kick by Azz.

and Bisley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dox tries for a takedown but Bisley circles away easily and Dox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Oh Dox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Dox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dox is breathing heavily. Bisley dances in with a quick combination. Dox is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bisley snaps Dox's head back. Dox stumbles backwards against the cage. Bisley steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dox's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dox just didn't come prepared.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bustamante is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Saxon off and has taken his back! Hodo working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hodo is trying to maintain a safe position but Emilaninako gets an underhook and turns Hodo into the cage. It connects and Emilaninako has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Some bone on bone action there as Hodo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hodo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hodo wants it to stay on the feet. David Hodo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Emilaninako is fighting to break Hodo's control of his arms but Hodo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Hodo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Emilaninako can do to turn this around? Emilaninako is looking to work some ground and pound but Hodo has wrist control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mallon!
Sobolev with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mallon to score with a decent uppercut. Sobolev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sobolev working the head with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Check out the look on Sobolev's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
This has been an exciting period of action! Sobolev landing strikes. Sobolev advances to full mount. Mallon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sobolev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sobolev is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mallon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
