Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eshan Shukla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean O Malley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shukla comes to the cage accompanied by n-dubs girls. Eshan Shukla had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shukla is trying hard to land a takedown here. O Malley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Shukla works the jab nicely.

O Malley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
