Lofton was covering up waiting for the punch and Vasquez finishes the takedown easily into guard. Vasquez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vasquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lofton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lofton is trying to keep Vasquez in close.

Grossman tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Grossman is trying to drag Kaewsamrit to the mat but Kaewsamrit just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Grossman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kaewsamrit fights it off and pushes away nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Whack! Kaewsamrit lands a heavy head kick that drops Grossman. The ref tackles Kaewsamrit to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Grossman was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coool doesn't succeed with the takedown and Matthews counters with a nice uppercut. Coool looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Coool takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sato. Quinn tries for a takedown but Sato circles away easily and Sato counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sato connects with a single shot there. Quinn misses with a combination
