Cola throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Ciagnie stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Cola follows into mount!
It looks like John Ciagnie has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cola wants to finish this one by submission but Ciagnie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cola.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mini Clubman!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clubman moves into the clinch.
Khan trying to land knees to the body.
Khan is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Clubman pushes Khan back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Clubman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Clubman gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Khan regains guard.
Khan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clubman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clubman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Clubman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Clubman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Khan is trying to get back to half guard.
Clubman has an Americana. Khan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Clubman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Clubman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
