The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cheese has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cheese and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Stinkfist misses with a hook
and Cheese counters with a one-two to the body. Cheese throws a right and a left that Stinkfist avoids nicely. Stinkfist feints a jab promting Cheese to slip. Stinkfist then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cheese slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stinkfist throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cheese counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stinkfist getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valentine is looking to chop away at Gracie's legs. Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valentine as he avoids it easily. A lazy left from Valentine finds it's target.

Young ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Penn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Penn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Penn counters with a nice double leg into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Young can't keep his opponent in guard - Penn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Young won't allow Penn to pass to mount. Young wants to get back to his feet.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Bricis as Rampage shoots in. Rampage misses with a leg kick and Bricis counters with a straight right hand. Rampage lands with an uppercut that bounces Bricis off the cage and back into rage.
