Martin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Freude schöner Götter Funken kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Martin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Gracie counter with a right hand.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand.
Martin shoots and misses
and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Martin darts in trying to clinch
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Martin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gracie has hold of Martin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Martin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gracie cranks the arm and Martin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Martin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Whack! Aoki lands a heavy head kick that drops Ueki. The ref tackles Aoki to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ueki was done.

Mancinelli lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mancinelli is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Delat is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Delat flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mancinelli anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Delat and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mancinelli slips an arm under Delat chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mancinelli has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mancinelli is squeezing on Delat like an anaconda would it's prey. Delat fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bambrough parries the strikes from SilvA easily there. SilvA is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bambrough to escape.
SilvA throws an elbow but Bambrough slips to the side and avoids it well.
