The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Chokespear to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chokespear is controlling him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones tries to bum rush Chokespear with a series of wild strikes but Chokespear uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Chokespear changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Chokespear manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chokespear shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Chokespear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chokespear is breathing heavily.
Chokespear drops his hands for a split second and Jones immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Chokespear face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Jones follows up with a right hand that knocks Chokespear into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
