 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Langston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gracie walks into a straight right hand from Langston. Gracie tries for a takedown but Langston circles away easily and Langston counters with a lovely shot to the body. Langston paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Gracie fails with the takedown and Langston counters with a right hand to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tapmaster Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie with a poor takedown and Langston counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking. Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Langston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Langston thuds his right hand into Gracie's forehead from close range.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fulton closes the distance and clinches up with Chidell, looking for a takedown. Fulton pushes Chidell against the cage but Chidell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chidell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fulton counters with a shoot takedown. Chidell fights it but they end up in guard. Chidell wants to stand up but Fulton is controlling him. Fulton thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fulton wants to control from the top but Chidell keeps moving. Fulton content to stall in guard here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
