The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demirro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mann tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alkofer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Henderson did well to prevent Alkofer getting side control. Henderson is doing well to control the position and prevent Alkofer from advancing to side control. Alkofer seems to be working for a kimura but Henderson defends the submission attempt. Alkofer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Turner circles away from the clinch attempt and Turner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Walker closes the distance looking to clinch and Turner counters with a nice uppercut. Walker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Turner pinned against the cage. Turner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Turner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Walker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turner tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turner to the ground. Turner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turner stalks Walker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Walker's face. Walker staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Walker shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walker shoots in but Turner avoids the takedown attempt easily. Walker avoids the head kick by Turner.
Jab by Turner. Turner throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Walker wants to clinch up but Turner keeps it at a distance. Walker throws a leg kick and Turner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Turner throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Walker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away. Turner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Turner throws a combination that misses and Walker makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Turner really felt that one! Walker shoots in looking for a takedown but Turner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Turner throws a head kick that misses. A head kick by Walker misses and Turner counters with a nice leg kick. Nice shot lands for Turner. Ike Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Turner getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A head kick by Walker misses and Turner counters with a left to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turner throws a head kick that half lands.

and Turner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Turner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A lazy body kick from Walker letting Turner counter with a right hand. Turner lands a head kick. Walker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Walker is rocked! Turner circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Walker to the canvas! Walker doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Turner keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Kaka darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Kaka throws a body punch but Hari moves out of range. Hari scoring well with a low kick there.

and Hari counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A punch combination from Hari misses. Hari takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hari throws a series of punches but Kaka avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hari gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kaka. Kaka misses with an uppercut
and Hari counters with a big head kick but Kaka shrugs it off. Kaka throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hari counters with an inside leg kick. Kaka looks gassed! Kaka misses with a few strikes there.
Hari cracks Kaka with a good jab. Hari with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kaka to score with a decent uppercut. Hari lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Kaka goes down and covers up as Hari starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. McPunches throws a strike but Starsmore avoids it easily and moves to full guard. McPunches throwing strikes from guard but Starsmore blocks nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McPunches scores with a decent looking elbow strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McPunches has his takedown stuffed letting Starsmore counter with a right hand. McPunches throws a hook but Starsmore avoids it easily. A clash of legs there as McPunches blocks the low kick. McPunches doesn't succeed with the takedown and Starsmore counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Starsmore turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Starsmore feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Starsmore trying to control the position from guard on top but McPunches is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jon Starsmore has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Starsmore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Starsmore prevents McPunches from escaping the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Starsmore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McPunches accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McPunches looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Starsmore isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McPunches stacks Starsmore on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McPunches! Starsmore tries to buck McPunches off but McPunches is having none of it. McPunches with the ground and pound but Starsmore regains half guard under the barage of strikes. McPunches missing with the ground and pound from half guard. McPunches not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Rugg blocks the body kick.
Nelson throws a leg kick but Rugg checks it. Rugg tries to clinch up and Nelson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nelson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rugg eats them both and turns towards Nelson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Rugg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nelson circles away from the clinch attempt and Nelson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nelson lands a jab to the head.
Rugg moves to clinch but Nelson breaks away and Nelson counters with a head kick. That will keep Rugg thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
